Commemorating The Martyrs On The Auspicious Occasion Of Independence Day
The Independence Day is not a common day for the country; why would it be for 360 Degree Technosoft? We ultimately thrive, strive, toil and make extra efforts to develop and showcase our country across the globe. We celebrated 70th Independence Day with zeal, excitement and readiness. We all know that Independence Day, is observed annually on 15th August, a national holiday in India, commemorating the nation independence from the British Empire on 15th August 1947. India attained independence following an Independence Movement noted for largely nonviolent resistance and civil disobedience.
On 15th August, the prime minister hoists the Indian flag on the ramparts of the historical site Red Fort in Delhi. Well, we can’t go to Red Fort so we organized ‘The Freedom Day’ inside the company campus.Everybody was to wear compulsory white upper ware as ‘white’ represents peace and an emblem for serenity. The holiday is observed throughout India with flag-hoisting ceremonies, parades and cultural events. There is a national holiday and schools and government offices distribute sweets but no official work is done. Similarly, we voluntarily and willingly gathered to celebrate.
The day was dedicated specially to recite famous ‘Freedom Songs’ like ‘Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo’, ‘E Mere Watan Ke Logo’, ‘Vande Matram’, Yeh Desh Hein Vir Jawano Ka’, ‘Mera Rang De Basanti’, and many other songs which literally gave goose bumps to everyone. It was an ecstatic feeling inside us as we remembered the freedom fighters and martyrs who gave their life in lieu of India’s freedom. The most interesting part of the program was ‘The Elocution’ where every employee was to prepare a speech of 5 minutes and inspire others (listeners) picking up one freedom fighters. The team members pre-picked their hero voluntarily.
Show Time: It started with Gandhiji, Mangal Pandey, Shahid Bhagat Singh, then it moved with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose and many others who made an arduous endeavor to free India from the clutches of the rulers. The Speech by Nishith, Senior PHP Developer, gave an inspiring speech on Gandhiji in which he narrated every efforts the Mahatma put during the freedom fighting movement. His speech of 15 minutes motivated Mohit, iOS Developer, to recount the incidents of 1942-1947 where the political movement of India caught speed and ignition to accomplish the goal.
Furthermore, Nilam, Leena, Krupali, Maitri narrated the women contribution of freedom fighters like Sarojini Naidu, Kamala Nehru, Madam Cama, Usha Phule, and many others. The ‘Freedom Program’ movement went ahead with the Quiz played among the team; the Quiz was about the history, struggle, achievement and invincible incidents led by the freedom fighters. To everyone’s surprise, all the employees were aware about the smallest information of the ‘Revolutionary Movement’ i.e. To make India free from the clutches of the Britishers.
On 15 August 1947, Jawaharlal Nehru, who had become the first Prime Minister of India that day, raised the Indian national flag above the Lahori Gate of the Red Fort in Delhi. On each subsequent Independence Day, the prime minister has raised the flag and given a speech. Similarly, our CEO Pratik Kanada, raised the flag on the terrace and we all saluted our National Flag in the pride of our country and all the martyrs. Mr. Pratik Kanada gave a stirring speech on how the youth can help developing our country in the coming years.
The ‘Freedom Program’ movement of 360 Degree Technosoft concluded with the light breakfast and sweets. The charm, glow and shine every employees have can be seen in the images captured. Well, just as we all took some resolution to do something for our country, you, too, can wish to envision the same. We often try to become evident of the fact that being a supreme mobile app development company is not enough for us as we make efforts to do the extra-curricular activities regularly.
